Litchfield Recreation

The Pride of Litchfield's recreational development is Lake Lou Yaeger, a 1,500-acre lake and 500 acre park. Lake Lou Yaeger is known throughout the country for its campsites, boat-loading ramps, fishing, hunting, skiing, swimming, picnic and playground areas, walking and cycling paths, and miles of horseback riding trails.

Recreation is not limited to the lake, however, Litchfield boasts several other parks and attractions. Sports fields, Memorial Swimming Pool, bowling, golf, and inside archery are among the many opportunities offered. Nature lovers will enjoy the scenic woodlands in the area.
