This Web Site has a something for Everyone! 
It's for K-9 Handlers & Officers to be able to share photos and more.
And to Educate & Communicate with the Citizens, Teens & Children of our Communities.  And let the people that support us see how beneficial their tax money can be in hands of a 4 legged animal.  I hope to also encourage the public to send us information about any criminal or unusual activity in their area.  Some may feel more comfortable using this so they don't have to actually call the P.D.    Help us fight crime!!

  Do K-9's really Help?  I've actually been told by people that have gotten arrested, " I don't like that dog!"  when asked why,  "Because he caught me!"  Indicating that before the dog was wasn't getting caught.

Hi, My name is Officer Dan Evans & this is my Partner "Jerry"  I am a life long resident of Litchfield, and have been in Law Enforcement for almost 8 yrs now.        I've been a Officer in Litchfield for 6 yrs now.   
Jerry hit the streets in May of 2001.  He is a two yr old German
Shepherd, from Czechelsolvokia  and was about 1 year old when I got him.    He was trained as a Dual Purpose Dog, after I met him and picked him out as the one I wanted to be my partner.
Dual Purpose means; he does Narcotic Searches as well as Patrol Techniques    We were trained at Vohne Liche Kennels in Denver, IN.
